My name is Rachel Britton. I just mess around with a Nikon D3100, Pentax K1000 and Photoshop.

Anonymous: Hi, I think your photography is amazing and I aspire to be a photographer in the future. I was wondering if you had any 'fusion' or 'surreal' photography ideas that could help me with my photography assignment because I think you're pretty rad

Well that means a lot to me, truly. All I can say about photography is to keep shooting and experimenting with your camera. Personally, I only use manual on my camera so I can customize the photograph (as in depth of field, shutter speed, light/dark, etc): If you use auto then you don’t really understand your camera. And as for ideas with your photography I recommend finding subjects you wouldn’t normally photograph and distort them so they appear unfamiliar: You want your subject(s) and subject matter to be unique, but not cliché. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
